Driver debutantes of 2022
i About facts-figure section.Nick de Vries and Zhou Guanyu made their debut in the 2022 season. Even though de Vries participated in only one race, when he replaced Alex Albon in the Monza race, as performers both drivers managed to get points, a fact that only happened in two other seasons. It is also interesting that both managed to get points in their first race. Zhou also achieved the fastest lap in one of the races.
None had a pole position, front row start, victory or podium finish.
In the only race in which de Vries participated, he qualified in 13th position, but started the race from 8th position following the penalties applied to several drivers, and will finish the race in 9th place. During the race, he managed to stay in 8th position for the first time 8 laps, following the last 8 laps of the race to be in position 9.
Zhou has the best ranking of position 9 at the Montreal race. During the race, he has the best ranking of 6th in lap number 8 at Suzuka. In the same race, he would have the fastest lap of the race in lap 24 when he was in 16th place.

So far, there has not been a single season in which we did not have at least one debutant driver. The fewest debutants, 2 each, were in 1985, 1998, 2008, 2012, 2018 and 2022
Scored points
In 2022, all rookie drivers scored points in at least one race. This happened only in two other seasons, 2018 with Charles Leclerc and Sergey Sirotnik and 2008 with Sebastian Bourdais and Nelsinho Piquet.

In 2022, Zhou Guanyu had the fastest lap in the Suzuka race. In the ranking of drivers with the most fastest laps in the first season, Hamilton leads with six followed by Farina, Fangio, Regazzoni and Montoya with three each.

It didn't happen in 2022
There are some performances that in 2022 were not achieved by the drivers, namely pole position, front row starts, victory or ranking on the podium. We will take a look to statistics for this performances, just a short notice for Lewis Hamilton and Jacques Villeneuve which will appear at the top in all these rankings.
Front row starts
Lance Stroll in 2017 is the last one who managed to start from the front row in the Monza race. In the top we find Hamilton with 12, Jacques Villeneuve with 9 and Fangio, Farina and Montoya with 5 each

Winning the race
This in his debut season seems quite difficult, Hamilton last achieved this in 2007. He leads the standings in a tie with Jacques Villeneuve both with four wins on debut.

Obtaining a podium in the debut season seems to be easier, a number of 53 drivers have achieved this performance. In 2017, Lance Stroll is the last driver who managed to finish a race on the podium in the Baku race. The most podium finishes in the debut season belong to Hamilton with 12 in 2007, followed by Jacques Villeneuve with 11 in 1996. The next ones in such a ranking have only 5 and it is Jackie Stewart in 1965 and Luigi Fagioli in 1950.
